The “Swimsuit USA International Model Search” was a huge success! The Model Search took place November 10th-16th, 2009 at the beautiful Wyndham Nassau Resort and Crystal Palace Casino in Nassau, Bahamas. 50 gorgeous ladies from all over the world competed for the title of Miss Swimsuit USA International.

Congratulations to the winners, Misty Marlow from Katy, Tx. is the New Miss Swimsuit USA International, 1st runner-up went to Brooke Adams from Clear Lake, Tx. 2nd runner-up was Debbie O’Toole of Liverpool England, 3rd runner-up Jennifer Bock, San Diego, Ca. and 4th runner-up was Amanda Holzen – Hollywood, Ca.

 

The Top 5 models took home over $30,000 in cash and prizes and the winner received over $10,000 in cash and prizes and will appear on the Cover of the 2010 Swimsuit USA Calendar. All contestants will appear in the 2010-2011 Swimsuit USA Calendar, with the Top 15 Finalists to be featured on their own individual pages! Miss Congeniality went to Hollie Pratt from Houston, Tx, The Media Award went to Eimani Morris from Chicago, Illinois, Best Costume was Lithera Capron from Nassau, Bahamas and the on-line voting Calendar Centerfold Choice went to Chelsie Reed from Lubbock, Tx. The film crew was on hand to shoot behind the scenes action and candid shots and interviews with all 50 models, sponsors and judges for our upcoming DVD release. Upon release, the DVD is targeted for distribution by Wal-Mart and other select retailers worldwide!

The contestants enjoyed a week of photo shoots, beach activities such as volleyball, tug-a-war, relay races and wheel barrow races. The contestants relaxed on a 74ft. Viking Yacht that cruised the beautiful waters of the Caribbean. They enjoyed tubing, snorkeling and having fun in the sun! The girls enjoyed featured attractions such as the Dolphin Encounters, Senor Frogs, shopping on Market Street and dancing the night away at 22 Above!

The “James Bond” Theme Party on the Beach was a big hit and The “Parade of Contestant’s” Pool Side Press Party was hosted by I-Candy Swimwear featuring the ladies in Bahama’s official colors at the Wyndham Nassau Resort. The events culminated with the Swimsuit USA International Model Search Finals on Saturday, November 14th in the beautiful Rainforest Theatre. Afterwards, the celebration continued as the winners and all other contestants appeared for the After Party at 22 Above in the Crystal Palace Casino where they enjoyed a night of live music and dancing!
